Nearby Attractions and Entertainment
Beaches
Enjoy leisurely, sun filled days on one of Cape Town’s most popular beaches a short walk from your garden studio. Camps Bay beach, with its pristine white sand, is one of Cape Town’s largest and most beautiful. Sun umbrellas and beach beds are available for hire and snacks can be bought from the many cafés across the road. Just round the corner is the more ‘cosy’ Glen Beach and a ten minute walk will take you to the world famous Clifton Beaches and to your left you will find the private bakoven beach 800m below.

Table Mountain
Table Mountain is a mere 2km from Camps Bay!

This majestic sandstone mountain is undoubtedly Cape Town's most famous and well-loved landmark. Its flat "table top" stretches for three kilometres and is flanked by Devil's Peak on one side and Lion's Head on the other. When a South Easterly wind blows the top is obscured by a large white ‘tablecloth’ of cloud that pours over the steep northern face. The Table Mountain reserve is home to an impressive diversity of indigenous flora, including many endemic species. The mountain is a treat for hikers, climbers and amblers with over 550 recognised paths. Be well prepared when setting out on a hike since the mountain is known for her mood swings and the weather can change dramatically in a short space of time.

For the less energetic there is a cable car that does a single rotation on the five-minute ascent/descent giving passengers a panoramic view. At the top cable station is a restaurant, souvenir shop and viewing platforms. The views are spectacular and if you’re lucky enough you’ll see fat, furry dassies (rock rabbits) lazing in the sun on the surrounding rocks.

V&A Waterfront
Bay to Stay
is only 15 minutes away from South Africa’s most popular tourism destination - the V&A Waterfront!

This is the oldest part of Cape Town's harbour, dating back to 1860. Although still a working harbour, it has transformed into one of Cape Town's prime attractions.

Restaurants, bars and cafes abound, and if it's shopping you are after, then its 240 stores of all descriptions are sure to please you. Explore the Two Oceans Aquarium, South Africa's largest, housing 300 marine species. Enjoy a sunset cruise or a boat ride to Robben Island. Banks and foreign exchange stores can also be found in the Victoria Wharf shopping centre.

Camps Bay Restaurants & Bars
There is a wide selection of restaurants, cocktail bars and cafés to choose from... day or night! And all are but a short distance away from your garden studio. We will advise you on the current favourites amongst Cape Town’s gourmet eating set and also take care of making your reservations.
